Eureka, MT

We've been heading West and North out of Glacier NP which has taken us through Whitefish enroute to Eureka.  The scenary has been stunning and the mountains seem to go on forever...
It is great to have Bonnie with us as we can meet for lunch like we did here in Whitefish...
We crossed the Flathead River...
Which seems to be a popular camping spot...
Today, we took off towards Eureka...
And found some more rural art...
 a black rabbit...
And more bike packers than we have seen anywhere else...
We dropped this group no problem...

We found another Great Northern Caboose...
As we rolled into Eureka...

And took a break at the Montana Market...
where a reporter approached us and asked if he could ask us a crazy question.  We obliged and we're excited to hear the crazy question which turned out to be not so crazy; "what do you do to beat the heat?"....really?  He was not very interested in our bike adventure which may be due to all the bike travellers that come through.

We took a left out of town and headed towards Kootenai National Forest...
And Koocanusa Lake...
We road along the Lake shore the rest of the day...
Until we met up with Bonnie at the Rocky Gorge Recreation site...
And went for a very refreshing swim after a hot ride...
