St. Croix Falls, WI

A big day for us today as we road North and crossed over the 45th parallel!  For a moment we were equidistant from the equator and the north pole (basically)! We took a picture exactly where the latitude read 45.00000 and waited to be levitated and hear the Rolling Stones playing Paint it, black.  Not sure why we thought that...maybe the endless corn, wheat, soy, and forest patches have put us into a rural Wisconsin dream state...here is what our view was at latitude equals 45.0000...CORN!!!!

We road through New Richmond and got some massive burritos and avoided the dog park as we made our way out of town...

We are starting to see glimpses of prairie...
And hearing lots of Clay-colored Sparrows (photo not taken with a Google Pixel 6)...

Our last day in Wisconsin and we think you could spend a lifetime of summers riding the Wisconsin back roads as they seem to go on forever...
